no bloating, not chalky, and gives a good amount of protein without all of the additives like many other protein powders.

I got this whey protein for my boyfriend who is trying to eat cleaner, be healthier and work out more going into the New Year. We also often eat together, so I've been trying a good bit of this too recently. The tub is huge, so it'll last quite a while, though the price for 52 servings is pretty on par with most protein powders on the market. It's not cheap, but it's a good product. I like that the ingredients are pared down and contain little to no filler, which certainly makes the consistency better and makes it go down easier. The peanuts are defatted, which make the peanut butter flavor much more subtle. I suppose great for people who aren't huge peanut butter fans (though we would've preferred a more pronounced peanut flavor). It mixes up quite well and dissolves easily when you follow the directions on the packaging, so it's pretty good to drink all on it's own. However, our favorite way to use it is as an addition to a berry smoothie. It adds a lot of flavor, a ton of protein and lots of great amino acids, and really does enhance the taste of a regular ole smoothie quite a bit! The container itself however is humongous, and there is quite a bit of unused space in the bottle, which we don't love. I appreciate that the company makes an effort to make this powder from only clean ingredients, but I would appreciate it more if they put the same effort into reducing unnecessary plastic use and increasing the sustainability of their product. I think it could've been packaged much more effectively as it is hard to store in it's current container, but it'll do.

The list of ingredients indicates that this is very high quality stuff. This comes to fruition when tasting. I didn't notice any chemical aftertaste. Speaking of taste, I mixed a glass as per instructions. It's almost like drinking peanut butter! I didn't notice any chocolate flavor. Then I mixed it with some chocolate drink mix that I had on hand. Not as healthy but very nice! Highly recommended!

This tastes good for what it is.. not the best but it also isn't loaded with sugar like some. There are no issues with texture when mixing and It blends well with other ingredients. You can make great smoothies with it.. Definitely my new favorite!

I'm not a fan of protein shakes in my previous experiences, but this one I am able to tolerate. Instead of mixing it with water, I use milk to mask any aftertaste that I don't like and it helps! For 5 pounds of powder, I think this is a steal! There is no scoop though which was disappointing.

When a big box was delivered, I was puzzled. Then I opened the box to find a rather large "bottle". I know I could probably put 3 gallons of milk in it once it is empty. I think this is going to make a great storage jar once I've used up all the powder inside .. about 52 servings. There is almost 7 table spoons of powder in the 2 scoops recommended. and 180 calories per serving. Allergens include ... milk, peanuts, coconut. Taste is OK. You can add to milk or water. We made a smoothie. Only recommended to add to around 8 oz of liquid. You might need to blend more than 30 seconds. or smash the lumps with a fork and shake/blend a bit longer. I really like that the whey is supposed to be from grass fed and free range cows from small herds - helping the little farmers and dairymen. Cost is under $1.85 per serving.

This is a whey protein of impressively high quality without additives and fillers. Also impressive is its ability to deliver a better user experience than cheaper competitors that don’t live up to that standard. By that I mean that even without some of the more innocuous additives like lecithin and silicon dioxide, straight out of the jar it somehow managed to dissolve better and clump up less than I expected. I can already see this slowly changing as it sits in my pantry, so I’m pretty certain that clumping will become an issue in a few months, but I doubt the large tub I received will last that long. The understated taste is interesting. Personally, I think they dialed it back a bit too far from what I’d consider ideal, but not by much. Maybe they could have done a less thorough job of defatting the peanut flour they used for a more conventionally rich peanut butter taste. Or maybe it’s fine as is, given that more fat would probably guarantee clumping issues. In any case, it’s still delicious. I far prefer it over the cloyingly sweet artificial taste of the cheaper wheys I’ve used, and if I need extra sugar for certain workouts, I can always mix in my own. FInally, I’ll talk about pricing. There’s undeniably some sticker shock with this product given that it retails for about $100 as of the time of review (late December 2023). But the math says that it’s actually not that expensive compared to many others on a per-ounce basis, and the high price is a function of the larger package size. Other than that, I think this an excellent choice if you’re looking for a high-quality whey.

The flavor is very subtle. Which I prefer. Neither the chocolate nor peanut butter is very noticeable, but it's definitely more peanut butter in flavor to me. I'd much rather a protein powder be mild and subtle than the opposite. So I like it. It goes down easy. The ingredients seem premium. And I like that it's a simple list full of names that are recognizable. 25 grams of protein for a 44 gram serving is a bit large for a serving size, though. Many powders will get you 25 grams at a much lower serving size. Not exactly sure why that is. But it also explains why it’s only 52 servings for 5 pounds. Not a fan of this container. It's too large and the cap is less than optimal IMO. They should work on a better design here.

Holy cow, you don't think about how much space 5lbs of powder takes up. It's a lot. This is a honkin big container! Luckily it tastes good, has good metrics, and blends easy. Works well to just shake it, and in a blender with some fruit or whatever works great. A banana, your liquid of choice, and you're all set. Good stuff here, and a ton of it. Well, 5lbs of it.

I like this whey protein powder. The taste isn’t overpowering. It blended nicely in a shaker bottle with some milk. The flavor and consistency were good. A convenient way to get a bit of additional protein in my day.
